Student Medication Pick-up

Posted Date: 05/18/26 (02:39 PM)

Dear Parent/Guardian,
As the school year comes to a close, this is a reminder that all student medications currently kept in the school clinic must be picked up by a parent or guardian no later than Wednesday at noon.
This includes:
  • Prescription medications
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Emergency medications such as inhalers, EpiPens, seizure medications, diabetic supplies, etc.
Per school medication administration guidelines and safe medication disposal practices, medications cannot be stored at the school over the summer. Any medication not picked up by the stated deadline will be disposed of appropriately in accordance with district policy and medication safety standards. Medications cannot be sent home with students unless specifically authorized by district policy and physician/parent documentation.
Please contact the school clinic at extension 1211 for Mrs. Langley and extension 2124 for Mrs. Hailey if you need to make arrangements for pickup or have questions regarding your student’s medication.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and thank you for allowing us to care for your student this school year.
Sincerely,
Amanda Langley, RN
District Nurse
