About Us

 Centerville Independent School District is a rural AA school district located in the heart of Leon County. Composed of 351 square miles and bordered on the east by the Trinity River, Centerville ISD proudly serves approximately 700 students in grades K-12. Agriculture production is the main industry in the area followed by county government and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Academic Programs

  • Strong core curriculum that meets or exceeds state standards
  • Dual Credit courses for high school students
  • Gifted and Talented program to challenge advanced learners on the Elementary campus
  • Special Education programs to support students with special needs
  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide students with job-related skills
